A new poll shows that more than 70% of Russians support President Putin’s military intervention in Syria.
That’s a major increase since the last poll, taken before airstrikes began.
The shift in opinion is largely down to a powerful information campaign on state-controlled media, especially television, which is the prime source of information for the vast majority of Russians.
