Yemen has handed over eight suspected Al Qaeda militants to Saudi Arabia, officials said Friday.
The move comes as part of joint security operations between the two countries, and the suspects will be tried in accordance with Saudi laws, Xinhua quoted Saudi interior ministry spokesman Mansour Al-Turki as saying.
He added that two of the suspects ran back to Yemen after they were released from prison in Saudi Arabia.
