It’s not enough for some of the libs over at Salon that Christmas is in fact a compromise between Christian and secular themes. They want the Christ part removed entirely. Put Santa in the manager. Don’t bother explaining any of the season lore to the children.
It’s not clear why atheists would participate in this annual event. But militant atheists are dedicated to wrecking Christmas for all and removing nativity scenes or any public display of Jesus, Joseph and Mary.
