On NBC’s "the today’s show," reporter Matt Lauer interviewed Vice-President Joe Biden regarding yesterday’s world health organization raising the pandemic level to level 5 in terms of a threat which is by their definition means that a pandemic is now imminent http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/30494440#30494440.

Lauer specifically referenced president Obama’s intention of "no plans to shut down the borders between the U.S. and Mexico, no plans even to curtail air traffic or travel between the two countries." Matt Lauer then stated, "I think some people this morning, Mr. Vice-President may be shaking their heads, not understanding that, help me out?"

Vice-President Biden responded, "I will help you out…leading health experts both in the world and here in the United States and they have suggested that is not the way we should move…that what we should be doing is with mitigation and that is the circumstances with large crowds of people whether they’re in school rooms or in soccer stadiums, or in malls, whatever the flu is transmitted…closing the classroom and closing the border are two fundamentally different things." When Matt Lauer pressed him further, Biden stated, "do we close the Canadian border too, do we close flights out of countries in Europe…we are told that is not an efficacious use of our efforts."

Lauer continued, "this is by no means a gotcha type of question…but if a member of your family came to you and said look I want to go on a commercial airliner to Mexico and back next week, would you think it’s a good idea?"

Biden immediately contradicted himself by responding with, "I would tell members of my family and I have, I would not go anywhere in confined places now…(such as) in a confined aircraft where one person sneezes it goes all the way through the aircraft that’s me…I would not be at this point if they had another way of transportation suggesting they ride the subway…so from my perspective what it relates to is mitigation. If you are out in the middle of the field and someone sneezes that is one thing, but if you are in a closed aircraft, or closed container, or closed classroom that is a different thing."

Is Vice-President Biden perpetuating more fear-mongering about the so-called “swine flu?”

Or does Biden have reason to believe, within his capacity of vice-president, that “swine flu” is transmitted “in confined places,” such as, “in a closed aircraft, or closed container, or closed classroom” or “a confined aircraft where one person sneezes it goes all the way through the aircraft” or “swine flu” contracted when one “rides the subway?”

Or is the Vice-President telling us everyone except he and his family are expendable?

As this author previously reported, Joe Biden is known for utilizing his highly effective “clairvoyant” abilities or his crystal ball back on September 10, 2001, one day prior to the 9/11 attacks. He was at the national press club when he made an unbelievable prediction which ironically came only true hours later when he said, "We will have diverted all that money to address the least likely threat while the real threats come into this country in the hold of a ship, or the belly of a plane, or are smuggled into a city in the middle of the night in a vial in a backpack." Then, in October 2008, fortune teller Joe Biden not only predicted but “promised” and “guaranteed” the following:

“Mark my words, mark my words, it will not be 6 months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did JFK … remember I said standing here in your room if you do not hear anything else I said watch we are going to have an international crisis a generated crisis to test the mettle of this guy and he is going to make some really tough…I don’t know what the decision is going to be, but I will promise you that it will occur…I guarantee you it’s going to happen!”
